Silver Award for the DOCU/CLUB Network
The DOCU/CLUB Network, affiliated with the NGO Docudays, has been honored with an award in the Partnership for Sustainable Development-2024 competition, organized by the UN Global Compact in Ukraine.
6 December 2024

This recognition comes as a result of an annual international competition that evaluates the top projects executed throughout the year. The competition emphasizes collaboration between business, government, and civil society sectors to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.

The UN Global Compact in Ukraine is the Ukrainian branch of the world's largest community of responsible businesses. This initiative, spearheaded by the UN Secretary General, aims to encourage companies to align their operations and strategies with the Sustainable Development Goals and adhere to the 10 Principles in the spheres of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The organization boasts 23,000 members across 166 countries, with 133 members in its Ukrainian network.

Projects by both Ukrainian and European entities, including representatives from Finland, Hungary, the Netherlands, Andorra, Norway, Turkey, Croatia, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Malta, participated in the Partnership for Sustainable Development 2024 competition. All nominated projects focused on supporting Ukraine during the full-scale invasion. The competition's initiators also highlighted exemplary sustainable development practices that could serve as models for the future reconstruction of our country.

The award ceremony took place in Kyiv on December 3, 2024. Ukrainian opinion leaders, celebrities, influencers, and ambassadors of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine joined the ceremony.

The winners were determined in five categories: Society; Peace and Warriors of Light; Economic Development; Planet; and Digitalization.

The DOCU/CLUB Network of the NGO Docudays became a finalist in the Society category and received a silver award.

The organizers of the Partnership for Sustainable Development 2024 competition honored our community for the tireless human rights education activities successfully conducted by our film club moderators, even under extremely challenging wartime conditions.

This award acknowledges the efforts of the film clubs to hold screenings at the frontline territories while minimizing risks, the effective operation of film clubs in an online format, and the establishment of film clubs abroad to engage with audiences of people who have temporarily left Ukraine.

The Network's team extends its sincere gratitude to all the moderators, because this award recognizes the efforts and tireless work of each and every one of you.
