This is a story of a young German man Michel, whose dream is to lead a simple life far from civilization. He lives in the Ukrainian mountains and is taking care of endangered animals – water buffaloes. After 10 years of being a loner, Michel falls in love with Vera, a woman from his hometown in Germany, who has two small kids from the previous relationship. Michel moves back to Germany and is trying to create a new family with Vera. After all Michel has to decide – is love worth a broken dream?

Ganna Iaroshevych
Ganna has a BA in Journalism, and an MA in Creative Media Practice, which she gained atthe University of Sussex in 2014. In 2016 Ganna has completed one-year course indocumentary directing at The Sergey Bukovsky Film Program.In 2014 Ganna joined film collective Babylon’13, completing 14 short documentaries forYouTube. “As far as possible” is her debut feature-length documentary, released in 2021,film has been screened at several international film festivals and has won awards. Since2022 Ganna mainly works as a film editor, one of her works is a short film on Russianinvasion of Ukraine “You know it’s going to be about war” dir. Olha Tsybulska, that waspremiered at Visions du Reel. Later Ganna worked on the rough-cut of documentary“Flowers of Ukraine” dir. Adelina Borets.
In 2024 Ganna started working on her second feature documentary “All F*cked Up” alongwith producers Kateryna Ptashka and Oleksandra Bratyshenko (Eleron Pictures). Theproject is currently in development and has been selected for the Documentary CampusMasterschool 2025.
